Site manager required in Cheshire

Randstad are recruiting a Site manager to build 150 2, 3 & 4 Bedroom properties in Cheshire on a permanent basis. Our client is one of the leading house builders in the UK who have a reputation of delivering high quality homes for their clients. They have a strong order book in the north-west for the next decade with plans for growth over the next 2-3 years.

The Role

1. Managing assistant site managers, coordinating trades and materials.
2. Reporting to the contracts manager.
3. Controlling quality of works from subcontractors.
4. Site inductions & Toolbox talks.
5. Working at a fast pace against a programme.
6. Monitoring Health and safety, and ensuring a high level of health and safety is maintained on site.

Skills and Experience

1. Experience in managing projects with at least 50 houses.
2. Previously worked in the new-build housing market for 5 years.
3. Keen eye for details, providing quick and effective solutions along with being a good communicator.
4. CSCS, SMSTS, First aid + a trade background would be advantageous.
