Location: Marchington, ST14 8LP

Contract Type: Permanent

Pay Rate: £43,000 - £48,000 per year + bonus scheme

Hours: Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:00

Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of a busy wash site. This is a key leadership position requiring a strong production background and the ability to manage people, processes, and quality to audit-level standards (BRCGS). The ideal candidate will be mechanically minded and driven to achieve outstanding results through efficient planning and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee full wash site operations to ensure productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
2. Organise and monitor workflow to meet deadlines.
3. Resolve production issues and implement effective solutions.
4. Supervise staff, monitoring performance, attendance, and shift coverage.
5. Ensure high output quality and compliance with BRCGS audit standards.
6. Enforce health and safety measures across the site.
7. Maintain appropriate staffing levels and plan for holiday/sickness cover.
8. Communicate with senior management and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a production or site management role.
2. Strong leadership and communication skills.
3. Mechanically minded – an engineering or electrical background is advantageous.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with IT systems.
5. In-depth understanding of quality and H&S regulations.
6. Decision-making ability and attention to detail.
7. Results-driven approach with excellent organisational skills.
