Job Description

Our client is a highly regarded housebuilder known for delivering high-quality, private, affordable, and luxury homes throughout East & North of Scotland.

We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to provide holiday cover on a live housing development site in Fife. This role will involve managing the day-to-day site operations, ensuring build programmes are on track, and maintaining the highest standards of health & safety and site presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and coordinate all on-site activities, including subcontractors and in-house trades/labour.
2. Ensure timely delivery of project milestones in line with the construction programme.
3. Conduct site inductions and daily toolbox talks.
4. Uphold strict health & safety standards on site.
5. Monitor site progress and report back to the contracts or project manager as required.

Requirements:

1. SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications - Essential.
2. Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential housing developments.
3. Strong leadership and communication skills.
4. Ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively.

Contract Details:

Freelance basis - Holiday Cover
Hourly pay via CIS or PAYE
Weekly payments
