We are seeking a skilled Mechanical / HVAC site manager to oversee and manage mechanical building sites from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent time management skills, and a solid understanding of mechanical / HVAC systems. This role requires effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project objectives are met within the specified timelines and budgets.

Would suit someone from a trade background in plumbing or pipefitting.

As a Site Manager, you will be required to:

1. Manage the day-to-day work program for nominated site staff.
2. Deliver Daily Briefs, Point of Work Risk Assessments, Toolbox Talks, etc.
3. Take responsibility for the team whilst on site to ensure the safe, effective, and efficient implementation of site operations.
4. Ensure all materials and supplies are procured/provided by the Construction Manager to the linesmen to avoid delays and maintain efficient working of the team.
5. Ensure deliveries are only accepted on undamaged materials and provide a report of daily deliveries to help with financing.
6. Ensure all construction and demolition work complies with RAMS, lifting plans, drawings, and specifications.
7. Display responsibility for the receipt of permits and limitations of access with relevant authority.
8. Undertake basic safety inspection before commencement of works.
9. Supervise and assist with construction, maintenance, fitting of OHL plant and equipment to ensure works are delivered to a high-quality standard.

Candidate:

• Basic reading, writing, and maths skills.
• Relevant accreditations for the role.
• Good understanding of reading and understanding drawings and documents.
• Commercial Awareness.
• Knowledge of substation health and safety procedures.
• SSSTS.
• CSCS.
