Job description

Job Specification: Site Manager

Location: Altrincham, North West (Regional travel only)
Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 + package (car allowance included)
Contract: Permanent

Company Overview:
Our client is a well-established contractor working on public sector projects such as schools, universities, NHS facilities, and small builds. Due to ongoing growth and the promotion of an existing team member, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and supervise all on-site activities, ensuring smooth and efficient project delivery.
  2. Maintain high standards of Health & Safety.
  3. Liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders, fostering strong relationships.
  4. Monitor and manage site operatives, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.
  5. Conduct regular progress meetings and provide updates to senior management.
  6. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in a Site Manager role, ideally within the public sector (schools, universities, NHS).
  2. Experience managing small teams (up to 10 operatives) on site.
  3. Ability to handle projects, ranging from £50,000 to £3.2 million in value and lasting between 2 weeks and 6 months.
  4. Excellent client-facing skills and ability to build strong relationships.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30/4:00 PM
