Site Manager - Industrial

• Milton Keynes, Bucks
• £250 - £275 per day
• March 2025
• Contract / Temp to Permanent option

We have been approached by a principal contractor to search for a Site Manager to oversee industrial projects in and around the Milton Keynes area. Established for over 30 years, this regional contractor has served clients with integrity and a non-adversarial approach for a sustained period of time.

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for steel frame projects ranging from £250,000 - £5m across the industrial, automotive, education, and healthcare sectors. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Day to day management of all site activities
  2. Management of sub-contractors
  3. Workload delegation and monitoring
  4. Site Inductions
  5. Organise & chair weekly meetings
  6. Ensuring high standards of health and safety

Experience and Attributes:

  1. Ideally, you will have at least 10 years' proven experience of delivering projects from start to finish
  2. Hold a current CSCS, 1st Aid, and SMSTS
  3. Steel frame and r/c frame experience, ideally within the industrial sector
  4. The position will suit a meticulous and tenacious personality who has good people skills with excellent communication
