Are you an experienced mechanical professional looking for a challenging role in the energy sector? Our client, a leading energy solutions provider, is seeking a skilled Site Manager to join their dynamic team.

About the Site Manager Role: As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing mechanical work, managing site pipe fitters, welders, and ducters. The Site Manager will play a crucial role in scoping work, ordering materials, issuing permits, and ensuring mechanical safety rules are strictly followed.

Key Responsibilities of the Site Manager:

  • Conduct job scoping visits to measure and order materials.
  • Liaise with colleagues on project timeframes and labor requirements.
  • Cascade Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for jobs.
  • Collate site M&E drawings and manage documentation.
  • Issue permits and oversee electricians and mechanical subcontractors.
  • Assist with commissioning phase and related permit issuance.
  • Conduct mechanical site safety audits and complete paperwork on Procore.
  • Ensure safe working practices and adherence to mechanical safety rules.
  • Complete red line drawings for as-builts upon project completion.
  • Manage testing certificates and ensure proper sign-off.
  • Maintain daily online reporting via Procore.
  • Ensure all necessary drawings are available to site teams.

We're Looking for a Site Manager Who Has:

  • Previous experience in a similar Site Manager role.
  • Understanding of permit systems.
  • NVQ in Industrial and Commercial Heating and Ventilation.
  • Experience in job scoping and material ordering.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, panel drawings, and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong industrial M&E knowledge.
  • Excellent literacy skills.
  • IPAF, PASMA, and CSCS ECS card certifications.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
  • Proactive thinking and an enthusiastic character.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent people management skills.
