Site Manager

Company:
A well-established, Tier 1, fast-paced, and ambitious construction and maintenance contractor with a great reputation for providing excellent services to clients.

Role:
Our client is entering a rapid period of growth, delivering long-term partnering contracts with many of their clients. Due to expansion within one of the key frameworks, they have been awarded more work in East and West Sussex.

We are therefore looking to add Site Managers to the team to help deliver all works across the scheme.

This will involve:

  • Accountability for all daily operational activity and the management of operatives and sub-contractors
  • Identifying, reviewing, and implementing the client's critical success factors for the project
  • Ensuring quality and programme standards are delivered, avoiding any post-completion defects
  • Maintaining high standards of safety and quality at all times
  • Ensuring the project delivery plan is followed and kept to cost and timeframe expectations

Key Experience Required:

  • Experience delivering projects within the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) framework is essential
  • Awareness of SHDF Wave 1, 2.1, and 2.2 funding phases and evolving requirements
  • Experience coordinating retrofit works including insulation, ventilation upgrades, heating system improvements, and energy efficiency measures
  • Proven track record of delivering projects funded through the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF)
  • Confident in reviewing and implementing SHDF compliance checklists, including data collection, monitoring, and validation processes
  • Previous experience with kitchen and bathroom replacements, window replacements, and re-roofing schemes
  • Planned maintenance and refurbishment experience required
  • Construction-related NVQ / HNC Level 4 and above
  • Relevant CSCS card and SMSTS certificate
  • Sound knowledge and compliance with health and safety requirements
  • Full UK driving license
  • Membership of or working towards RICS/MCIOB would be advantageous
