An established industry player is seeking a Site Manager to oversee fire stopping works at a distribution centre in Livingston. Job description

The Role

Site Manager overseeing internal fire stopping works at height on a distribution centre project in Livingston, Scotland. This project is due to start on Monday 12th May 2025 with a total duration of 6 months on days.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

For this role you must possess the following:

  1. SMSTS (Essential)
  2. CSCS Black or White Card (Essential)
  3. 3 Day First Aid (Essential)
  4. Fire Marshal (Ideal)
  5. Asbestos Awareness (Ideal)
  6. Previous scaffolding experience
  7. Experience of working in a live retail or distribution environment
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  9. Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure

Duties

  1. Update RAMS
  2. Coordinating handovers and sign offs
  3. Implement and improve existing procedures
  4. Lead the day-to-day running of site activities
  5. Update and check against the construction Programme
  6. Preparation of site documents such as work orders and purchase orders etc.
  7. Responsible for the successful completion and handover of sections of work on site
  8. Ensuring quality standards are achieved implementing inspection and test plans.
  9. Communicate effectively with the client, sub-contractors and senior management team

Contract Details
