Job description

Our client is a busy main contractor with some large and interesting building projects in the pipeline. They are seeking driven Site Managers with strong main contracting experience. They operate across Scotland (primarily central belt) and within a range of sectors including industrial, retail, leisure, office, and distilleries. They have an impressive portfolio of projects between £1m-£50m in value.

As Site Manager, you will play a leading role in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of construction sites.
2. Lead and motivate site teams, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and to high-quality standards.
3. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
4. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain project timelines.
5. Monitor project progress and report updates to the management team.
6. Implement and maintain exceptional quality assurance processes.
7. Develop strong working relationships with clients and design teams.

Qualifications & skills:

1. A proven track record as a Site Manager within a main contracting environment.
2. Experience working within live environments and fast-track programmes.
3. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
4. A proactive and problem-solving approach to site challenges.
5. SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications.
