Site Manager / Working Manager

£45,000 plus van

Are you looking for a permanent role as a Site Manager / Site Foreman?

Are you looking for local work in the Hull area?

TS Recruitment are actively working with a regional main contractor based in Hull who are looking to recruit a Site Manager / Site Foreman.

Benefits

  • Basic salary circa £45,000 per annum
  • Permanent work in and around Hull.
  • Van and expenses
  • 31 days annual leave including bank holidays
  • 3% employer and 5% employee pension contributions

Job Role & Responsibilities of the Site Manager:

  • Oversee/manage construction refurb and restoration projects up to £2 million
  • Subject to project size, some work on the tools will be required
  • Would suit a joiner or bricklayer due to the nature of the work
  • Management duties include reading technical drawings, managing direct labour and subcontractors
  • Order materials for site and manage the logistics
  • Carry out site inductions and toolbox talks
  • Liaise with the Contracts Manager providing progress updates
  • Carry out work on the tools as and when necessary
  • Ensure projects are complete within timescales and budget

Knowledge/Experience:

  • 5 plus years' experience working as a joiner
  • NVQ level 2 or higher in Joinery
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First aid qualifications preferred
  • Happy in a hands-on role on the tools and managing site
  • Computer literate
