Site Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Manager / Site Agent to join a well-established engineering firm.

As a Site Manager / Site Agent, you will report to Project and Contract Managers and manage construction sites to ensure successful project delivery, maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and cost control.

You will be responsible for:

1. Oversee site management to achieve project objectives, ensuring health & safety, quality, and environmental standards are met.
2. Deliver multiple ongoing projects to the required quality and within the specified programme.
3. Work closely with the Project Manager and site staff, ensuring smooth handovers between departments.
4. Collaborate with design teams and clients to ensure efficient project delivery.
5. Implement and oversee quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Manage site resources, including subcontractors, to ensure a safe and successful project delivery.
7. Lead meetings with clients and manage project progress reports.

What we are looking for:

1. Previously worked as a Site Supervisor, Site Agent, Works Manager, Site Manager, Foreman, Contracts Supervisor, Assistant Project Manager or in a similar role.
2. Understanding and experience of commercial requirements for each project.
3. Knowledge of conditions of contract, method of measurement, and contract specifications.
4. Strong awareness of Health & Safety regulations.
5. Familiarity with the company’s management system.
