We are seeking a proactive and experienced Site Manager to take operational leadership and budget responsibility for managing a safe and efficient section of our site operations on behalf of a well-known high street retailer.

Are you a seasoned leader? Can you drive operational excellence? Do you leverage KPIs to measure and enhance operational success? Have you got previous experience leading large teams in a fast-paced warehouse environment? Then we would like to hear from you!

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

  • Analyze and mitigate health and safety risks for associates, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
  • Drive a Safety-First culture and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal obligations.
  • Ensure effective communication of policies and practices across the operation.
  • Implement security measures to protect personnel, assets, and customer products.
  • Engage customers and employees in security awareness initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Develop and maintain training plans and quality management processes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, fostering strong relationships and trust.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and drive continuous improvement programs.
  • Oversee resource planning, recruitment, and training to meet operational demands.
  • Lead operational performance reviews focusing on profitability and efficiency.
  • Ensure achievement of customer KPIs and internal targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching for direct reports.
  • Identify opportunities for operational enhancements using First Choice tools.
  • Engage employees in improvement activities and environmental initiatives.
  • Foster an engaging culture through regular communication and recognition.
  • Lead talent development and succession planning initiatives.
