Site Manager: New Build Residential Development

Location: Glasgow

Permanent

Salary: 50,000 - 60,000 + comprehensive benefits package

Your New Employer:

Regional housebuilder with an enviable reputation in the market and a low staff turnover. Due to natural expansion, they have a requirement for an experienced Site Manager to join their operations team on a permanent basis.

Your New Role:

You will become a key member of the management team, delivering a new build residential development in Glasgow.

Due to the fast-paced nature of the business, you should be an energetic and driven Site Manager with experience in a similar capacity for another leading housebuilder.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Plan and organise labour on site, including Sub Contractors.
  2. Experience of working to the highest NHBC standard.
  3. Ensure all resources are used efficiently on site.
  4. Keeping site records and registers up to date.
  5. Keep records and maintain electronic filing system.
  6. Ensure the site is a safe and tidy place to work and visit.
  7. Quality Control.
  8. Authorising timesheets for trades and labour.
  9. Maintaining high levels of safety standards on site.

Key Criteria:

  1. CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid tickets.
  2. Previous experience as a Site Manager with another leading housebuilder.
  3. Trade background or Construction Management Degree.
  4. Proven experience of meeting deadlines and keeping costing guidelines.
