First People Solutions are working in partnership with a leading civil engineering and construction contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company delivering high-quality infrastructure, groundworks, and civil engineering projects across Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day management of civil engineering and groundworks projects
Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
Maintain strict health & safety compliance across all site operations
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and key stakeholders to drive project success
Manage site documentation, reporting, and quality control procedures
Requirements:
Civil Engineering industry experience (essential)
Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
Strong knowledge of construction processes, site safety regulations, and quality standards
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
