Site Manager

Location: Bude
Salary: £60,000 + Car package
Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent

Sphere Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading specialised engineering company, for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of critical infrastructure and data centre projects.

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing site delivery, ensuring quality, health & safety compliance, and effective coordination of subcontractors. You will report to the Project Manager and play a key role in ensuring timely project completion to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to company standards.
  2. Manage risk, reporting upstream and implementing mitigation measures.
  3. Promote a strong safety culture on-site, conducting inductions, briefings, and toolbox talks.
  4. Coordinate subcontractor activities and ensure work aligns with specifications.
  5. Supervise deliveries, plant, equipment, and contract lifting plans.
  6. Maintain accurate project documentation and progress reports.
  7. Oversee commissioning and ensure smooth project handover.

Experience & Requirements:
  1. 5+ years' experience in site management within construction.
  2. Experience managing large infrastructure projects.
  3. Strong knowledge of civils, steelwork, cladding & FFE packages.
  4. Understanding of mechanical and electrical services.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Project.

Qualifications:
  1. SMSTS & CSCS Card (Essential)
  2. H&S Qualification (Desirable)

Package:
  1. Salary circa £60,000 & Car package
