Job Title: Site Manager / Project Manager - Groundworks

Location: Near Reading

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Sector: Groundworks / Civil Engineering

Overview:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and career-driven Site Manager or a Senior Engineer looking to transition into a Site Management role. The successful candidate will join a supportive and experienced team on a small-scale groundworks project near Reading.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring project delivery on time and within budget.
2. Manage subcontractors, materials, and plant.
3. Maintain high standards of health & safety and ensure compliance with site regulations.
4. Coordinate with engineers, quantity surveyors, and clients to ensure smooth delivery.
5. Report progress to senior management and attend regular site meetings.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in groundworks projects.
2. Ideally 2-5 years' site experience in a management or senior engineering capacity.
3. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
4. Strong understanding of health & safety practices.
5. British Passport essential due to site-specific security protocols.
