Site Foreman

Job Title: Site Foreman
Location: Ringwood
Salary: £35k - £37k + package

We are recruiting on behalf of a privately-owned developer based in Dorset that specializes in delivering high quality, new build housing across Dorset and Hampshire. Due to sustained growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking a Site Foreman to assist the site team on a site in Ringwood.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the site manager and assistant site manager in managing the development of the site from set-up through to completion, ensuring Customer Ready Certificate (CRC) inspections align with the site programme.
2. Achieve quality and cost targets through effective management of resources and compliance with warranty provider, local authority, and health & safety requirements.
3. Responsibility for stage snagging, organisation of subcontractors, and issue and completion of snagging lists.
4. Assist the site management team in the effective running of construction projects.
5. Supervise subcontractors and labourers, ensuring the onsite team is fully resourced and well-directed.
6. Track site materials and document daily activities, material used, testing, inspections, and visitors to site.
7. Assist in the management of quality control on construction projects in accordance with the Consistent Approach to Quality and Finishes document and the Customer Ready Certificate and Handover Procedure Manual.
8. Implement health & safety requirements for all on-site activities, ensuring the condition and operation of facilities and structures comply with HSE (Health and Safety Executive) and Company policy and procedures.
9. Take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by your actions or omissions at work.

Requirements:

1. At least 3 years experience working as a Site Foreman or Working Foreman on a construction site, ideally residential but not essential.
2. SSSTS certification.
3. First Aid certification.
4. CSCS Card.
