Site Engineer (Forklift Trucks)(3-Shift Pattern)

Alexander James Recruiting are currently working with a leading manufacturer of Material Handling equipment looking to on-board a new Site Engineer to maintain a fleet of trucks on a customer site in Halewood. Responsibilities

1. Servicing a fleet of Material Handling equipment on a customer site in Halewood focusing on forklift trucks.
2. Fixing and servicing other, related material handling & specialist equipment to include side-loaders and industrial cleaning equipment.
3. Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way on customer site.
4. 3-Shift pattern as follows: Monday - Friday 05:45-14:15; 13:45-22:15; 21:45-06:15.

Requirements

The company have a preference for an individual from a forklift truck background due to the requirements of the role, however this is not essential. They will also consider candidates with a background working within a closely related industry such as plant equipment, automotive, commercial vehicles or similar. You will be able to work well on your own and as part of a team whilst being able to develop your skillset and learn as you go. In terms of location, you will need to be based within commutable distance of Halewood.
