We are seeking a skilled permanent Site Engineer to join our team at a leading main contractor in the construction in the North East. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in setting out and be proficient in the use of AutoCAD and one-person total station robotic systems. You will be responsible for working on various commercial new build projects across the North East of England, ensuring that projects are completed with precision, on time, and within budget.
As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for:
The successful candidate will hold a minimum of an HND/HNC or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field and have at least 3 years of experience in a Site Engineer role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using AutoCAD for preparing and modifying construction drawings, as well as operating one-person total station robotic surveying equipment, is essential. A strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices, along with knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and building standards in the UK, is required. A valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence are also necessary.
