Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading housebuilding company in the North East. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer to become part of a forward-thinking team, delivering high-quality residential developments across the region.

As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing site operations and ensuring that projects run smoothly, on time, and within budget. You will use your technical expertise to provide support for construction activities, carry out surveying duties, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities of the Site Engineer include:

  • Managing and setting out the site to ensure accurate execution of the design.
  • Liaising with contractors, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure the site progresses according to plan.
  • Monitoring the quality and safety of site operations.
  • Producing reports and providing technical advice where necessary.
  • Ensuring all site work is carried out in compliance with the project specifications.
  • Managing site documentation and maintaining accurate records.

The ideal Site Engineer will have:

  • A relevant degree in civil engineering or a similar field.
  • Proven experience in a similar Site Engineer role.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • A proactive attitude with a strong attention to detail.
