Site Engineer

Are you a driven and experienced Site Engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor who has a strong track record of delivering high quality projects across the UK is currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join their new £68m industrial project in Tunbridge Wells.

About the role

This large-scale industrial project features a substantial groundworks package with 500,000 Sqft of industrial space. As part of a collaborative team, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of this project.

Responsibilities

1. Setting out and surveying for the groundwork and structural elements.
2. Monitoring and reporting on site progress, addressing any issues or discrepancies.
3. Liaising with the project management team, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth delivery and coordination.
4. Implementing and maintaining health, safety and environmental standards on site.
5. Supporting the project manager in driving the project to successful completion within time and budget.

Requirements for the Site Engineer

1. Proven experience as a site engineer, ideally with industrial and deep earthworks.
2. CSCS card and 1st Aid certification.
3. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
4. Strong understanding of groundworks including setting out and surveying.
