Site Engineer - Road Widening Scheme
Location: Sittingbourne
Rate: Up to £350 per day (Inside IR35)
Duration: Minimum 6 months

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Engineer to join a major road widening project in Sittingbourne. This is a fantastic role for an experienced engineer looking for long-term work with a leading contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Overseeing site activities and ensuring work is completed to specification
  2. Setting out, surveying, and quality control for the road widening scheme
  3. Assisting with site documentation, method statements, and risk assessments
  4. Liaising with project managers, subcontractors, and the client
  5. Ensuring health & safety and environmental compliance on site

Requirements:
  1. Previous experience as a Site Engineer on highways or infrastructure projects
  2. Proficiency in setting out using GPS & total station equipment
  3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and health & safety regulations
  4. CSCS Card (essential)
