Site Engineer - Road Widening Scheme
Location: Sittingbourne
Rate: Up to £350 per day (Inside IR35)
Duration: Minimum 6 months
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Engineer to join a major road widening project in Sittingbourne. This is a fantastic role for an experienced engineer looking for long-term work with a leading contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing site activities and ensuring work is completed to specification
- Setting out, surveying, and quality control for the road widening scheme
- Assisting with site documentation, method statements, and risk assessments
- Liaising with project managers, subcontractors, and the client
- Ensuring health & safety and environmental compliance on site
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer on highways or infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in setting out using GPS & total station equipment
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and health & safety regulations
- CSCS Card (essential)
