Base Location: Flexible Scotland, however, our preference is that you will be based from one of our key sites in Scotland such as Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness.
When the construction phase starts the expectation is that you will be on site and based at Broadford or Edinbane Substations on the Isle of Skye 5 days per week.
Salary: £40,600 - £61,000 depending on experience + car / cash allowance + performance-related bonus + range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

SSEN Transmission has an opportunity for a Site Construction Manager experienced in the principles of the construction and commissioning of major transmission substations.
The Site Construction Manager will play a vital role in the project team delivering the Skye 132kV Reinforcement Project between Fort Augustus and Ardmore and be based at either Broadford or Edinbane Substations on the Isle of Skye.
When the construction phase starts the expectation is that you will be on site 5 days.
The Site Construction Manager will typically become involved with a project in advance of Gate 3 of the LCP process and take responsibility for the construction phase of the project, ensuring that suppliers carry out works in accordance with SSEN processes, procedures and the contracted Works Information.
You will represent the SSEN Transmission business on-site, being the key point of contact for the project.
The role requires a full current driving licence due to the requirement to travel to and be on site and during the construction phase you will be expected to be on site 5 days/week.
