Job Description: Site-Based Cleaning Manager - Bristol, BS2 Area
Pay Rate - £15.69 Per Hour
Working Hours: 9.30am - 17.30pm (40 hours per week)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site-Based Cleaning Manager to oversee all cleaning operations at our multi storey office building. You will be responsible for leading a team of cleaning staff, ensuring the site meets the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage day-to-day cleaning operations across the site.
  2. Supervise and support a team of cleaning operatives, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  3. Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards and specifications are consistently met.
  4. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  5. Order and manage cleaning supplies and equipment within budget.
  6. Liaise with site stakeholders and clients to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
  7. Handle any cleaning-related issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
  8. Maintain accurate records of attendance, cleaning checklists, incidents, and inspections.
  9. Implement and maintain cleaning schedules, deep cleans, and periodic tasks.
  10. Support recruitment and onboarding of new cleaning staff when required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Proven experience in a managerial cleaning role.
  2. Knowledge of COSHH, Health & Safety, and cleaning best practices.
  3. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  4. Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively.
  5. Basic computer skills for scheduling and reporting purposes.
