Site Agent - Civil Engineering / Infrastructure
Location: East London
Sector: Civil Engineering / Infrastructure
Contract Type: Full Time - Contract Inside IR35 PAYE.
Day Rate: Dependant on experience

About the Role
Our client is seeking a Sub Agent to join their project team for the remediation projects for Thames Water. This role will involve overseeing the successful delivery of works, managing teams on-site, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have significant civil engineering experience and a proven track record of delivering complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage day-to-day site operations and team performance
  2. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards
  3. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
  4. Oversee project progress and contribute to risk management
  5. Assist with procurement and subcontractor coordination
Experience Required
  1. Minimum 5 years' experience in civil engineering, ideally within the rail or water sectors
  2. Proven site management experience with a focus on health and safety compliance
  3. Strong leadership and communication skills
  4. Knowledge of NEC contracts, programme management, and temporary works
Qualifications & Training
  1. BEng / BSc / HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  2. CSCS card (essential)
  3. SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
  4. PTS (desirable but not essential)
