Are you a Maintenance Engineer with a background in simulation machinery or similar, looking to step into one of the industry's leading names? Take charge of a team of engineers to work on a range of machinery that will help train the pilots of the future.

On offer is the opportunity to work at a company at the forefront of simulation technology. This company has 4 simulation machines and has trained numerous pilots over the years. They provide their staff support and maintain an open line of communication between management and engineers.

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of up to 4 full flight simulators, training junior technicians, and communicating with pilots. You will also perform secondary duties such as calibrations and tool inspections, as well as logistical duties including parts received, repair, testing/validation, and administrative tasks as required. This job entails a variable shift pattern, whether that be day or night shifts.

The Role:

• Maintaining and troubleshooting flight simulators to ensure peak performance.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Collaborating with engineers and instructors to improve simulation accuracy.
• Installing and integrating new technology and software updates.
• Conducting regular system tests and preventive maintenance.

The Person:

• Experience in simulation, avionics, or electromechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanics, electronics, and software integration.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Passion for aviation and innovation in training technology.
