My client is a luxury interiors company, specialising in Bathrooms, kitchens, tiles and flooring. They are looking for a new Senior Sales Consultant to join their team to progress to Assistant Manager.

Job Outline:

The Sales Consultant will deliver an excellent sales performance through providing the customer with exceptional service. They help deliver and grow the company's brand at all levels. They deliver all set company procedures in line with the Operations Manual, and always promote and assist the company in achieving its goals and strategy. This Sales Consultant will be selling Bathrooms & other Group products.

Key Skills and Responsibilities of the job:

  1. Personally greeting the clients upon entry to the showroom;
  2. Recommending suitable product ranges to the client as per their specification (dimensions; budget);
  3. Provide the clients with detailed and accurate quotations;
  4. Handling payments directly from clients as well as credit/debit card payments;

Commercial Focus:

  1. To deliver store sales in line with targets;
  2. To actively sell and promote the company's products at all times;

Customer Satisfaction:

  1. To ensure that customer service standards are exceptional at all times;
  2. To always ensure that your selling skills are effective in line with customer expectations;

Product Presentation:

  1. To ensure that you always have up to date knowledge of all products;
  2. To deliver the best possible customer experience through driving product standards;

Personal Attributes:

  1. Excellent People Skills;
  2. Smart personal appearance;
  3. Clear and positive communicator with good negotiation and influencing skills;
  4. Relevant experience with face to face customer sales in a similar environment or possesses the underlying traits to fulfil this role;

Education and Qualifications:

  1. A good level of verbal, written and numerical literacy;
  2. Relevant experience in a similar environment would be an advantage;
  3. It is desirable applicants have previous Bathroom sales experience;
