Shot Blaster / Powder Coater


About the Role

Mulititask seeking a skilled Shot Blaster / Powder Coater to join our team in Leyland. This is a full-time, night-shift position offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work within a well-established manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Preparing surfaces for coating by shot blasting to remove rust, scale, and contaminants.
  2. Applying powder coating to metal components using industry-standard techniques.
  3. Ensuring coatings are applied evenly and to the required thickness.
  4. Operating and maintaining shot blasting and powder coating equipment.
  5. Conducting quality inspections to ensure a high standard of finish.
  6. Adhering to all health and safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
  7. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

  1. Previous experience in shot blasting and/or powder coating.
  2. Knowledge of surface preparation and coating processes.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  5. Ability to work night shifts (Monday to Thursday, 6 PM - 6 AM).
