We are looking for a Shot Blaster on an ongoing contract for an Engineering/Fabrications company in the ST10 area (Temp to perm for the right candidate). Specific experience is not required as training can be provided, but ideally some experience within an engineering/manufacturing business.
Please note you will need an in-date Counterbalance license for this role.

Start date: ASAP

Rate: £12.78p/h - £17.04p/h

Hours: Initially you will work on days while training (6am-2.30 Mon - Thurs, 6am - 11am Friday) for a few weeks until you are fully up to speed/trained, to then move to nights (4.30pm - 2.30am Mon - Thurs).

Duties:

1. Shot blast parts/preparation of products for painting
2. Inspecting products to ensure they are prepped to a high standard
3. Paying high attention to detail
4. Adhering to site health and safety guidelines at all times
5. General housekeeping duties
6. Using a Counterbalance truck
7. Liaising with team to ensure smooth running of the operation
