Trinity House is seeking a Ship Newbuilding Technical Lead to oversee the construction of cutting-edge vessels and support our mission of safeguarding navigation for all at sea.

As Ship Newbuilding Technical Superintendent, you will:
- Lead Newbuild Technical: Manage and oversee the technical aspects of vessel design and construction.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure vessels meet Trinity House’s high standards, industry regulations, and classification society requirements.
- Collaborate Effectively: Work with shipyards, designers, and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Problem-Solve: Address technical challenges during construction and testing phases.
- Oversee Delivery: Conduct inspections, manage sea trials, and ensure successful handovers.

To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- A degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in ship design, newbuild supervision, or technical management.
- In-depth knowledge of IMO regulations and maritime standards.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
