Shift Mechanical Engineer

I am excited to partner with a leading manufacturing company who are based in Sevenoaks, Kent. Due to continued expansion, they now have an immediate requirement for a Shift Mechanical Engineer to join their team. The successful Shift Mechanical Engineer will be working on a panama shift pattern and will be responsible for all reactive and preventative mechanical maintenance on site. This is an excellent opportunity for an ex-military engineer with a strong mechanical engineering background to join a growing business. Please note, this is working on panama shift pattern, consisting of days, nights and weekend working. Shift Mechanical Engineer Requirements:

• Must hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 – mechanical engineering bias.
• Experience of working with heavy plant and machinery.
• Proven experience of working in a maintenance environment.
• Hands-on experience in welding, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Safety conscious with proficiency in health and safety regulations.
• Self-motivated, innovative approach with a can-do attitude.
• IT Literate.
