Shift Leader FMCG production – Redditch- Nights – 37.5 hrs PW / 18.00-06.00 Wed, Thurs, Fri Weekly – £39k-£40k – Pension, Life Assurance, GYM membership, discount schemes and more

A fantastic opportunity for a Shift Leader (nights) to join a European supplier of care products.

The Business:

This niche business offers products to a variety of sectors producing both branded and own brand wipe products for a variety of leading names.

You will be a motivator and leader by good example, someone to help and guide others to be successful in their responsibilities.

The purpose of this role will be to support the manufacturing teams to achieve their objectives whilst meeting performance, safety and quality standards.

Main Role and Responsibilities

  • Offer Team Management and Development: coach and guide the production team to achieve key manufacturing KPI’s, including quality, RFT, OTIF, OEE, and waste reduction.
  • Promote Health, Safety and Quality: champion and uphold health and safety, GMP and quality standards across the site.
  • Encourage Decision-Making: make informed, independent decisions aligned with business goals.
  • Provide Cross-Departmental Collaboration: build effective partnerships between production and internal customers to enhance communication and operations.
  • Highlight Training and Development: identify skills gaps, implement training plans, and ensure the team is equipped to meet current and future needs.
  • People Management: monitor and manage staff attendance, performance, and behaviour to maintain a productive and engaged team.

Salary/ Benefits

Hours of Work: weekly 18.00 – 06.00 Wed, Thurs and Fri – 37.5hrs per week total/225hrs annual leave.

  • Contributory Pension Scheme – (via salary exchange with 50% of ER’s NI Rebate given to employees’ pension fund). Contributions are 5% Employee and 4% Employer (minimum).
