As a Shift Engineer - Electrician, we will support you to:

As an integral role within the business, the Shift Engineer - Electrician will conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment, perform preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability, maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, and prepare detailed reports on system performance and incidents. Collaborating with other engineering staff to optimize system performance and provide technical support and guidance to the rest of the team. You will be expected to respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and resolve issues, troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults effectively, and ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies.

You will be required to cover shifts and support the Rooms Technicians to maintain a safe environment for yourself, your colleagues, and our Guests.

Critical Expertise & Recent experience:

• Qualification in electricity is essential.
• Up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Able to assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Has knowledge of appropriate brand standards relating to areas of accountability.
• Able to monitor energy consumption and suggest efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs.
