Shift Coach Builder

Stagecoach is looking for a friendly, experienced, reliable coach builder to join our engineering team in Northampton.

What the job involves:

  • The focus is on maintaining and repairing our fleet.
  • Carrying out inspections of vehicles.
  • Routine diagnostics.
  • Undertaking roadside repairs.
  • You’ll need to be comfortable working under your own initiative, but still enjoy being part of a team supporting each other.

There are several shift patterns worked: early, day, and late. These are on a 5 over 7 rotating pattern.

Don’t worry if you aren’t trained in the most up-to-date equipment; we can provide you with all the necessary training to support you in your day-to-day tasks.

Ideally, you’ll be a qualified PCV coach builder. However, car, HGV, and similar backgrounds will also be considered.

Pay is important; we have several rates depending on experience, so there is always the opportunity to progress. For this job role, we are offering the qualifying candidate an hourly rate of £19.43.
