An established industry player is seeking a SHEQ Manager to enhance Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the implementation of SHEQ procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards while fostering a proactive safety culture. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in SHEQ management within the waste sector, strong leadership capabilities, and exceptional communication skills. Our client is looking to recruit a SHEQ Manager to support and act as Relief to the Site Manager, covering Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements.
The successful candidate will coordinate the implementation of Health, Safety and Environment procedures, ensuring that company and legal standards are met. You will be required to support company SHEQ initiatives, drive a proactive Accident prevention approach and promote a positive Health and Safety culture throughout the site.
The ideal candidate will also need to be experienced within Health and Safety environment and possess an understanding of ISO accreditation. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills are essential, along with excellent written and spoken communication skills to demonstrate results delivery. Provide detailed information sharing at all levels and drive SHEQ values and continuous improvement.
