JOB TITLE: SHEQ Advisor / Compliance Advisor

PACKAGE: £32-35k plus Company car, Pension and company benefits

LOCATION: You will be located in Beeston, Bramcote, Derby, and surrounding areas, but travel will be required across the UK.

ROLE: Health and Safety, Environmental & Quality / SHEQ Compliance Advisor

You will support the SHEQ Manager in compliance management for a company with multiple sites. This is a great opportunity for someone to progress their career in the growing sector of waste management.

1. You will be responsible for Health and Safety working practices that are effectively communicated to the workforce.
2. You will ensure the site operates within permitted environmental regulations and quality standards.
3. You will perform regular health and safety, environmental, and quality audits.
4. Maintenance of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001.
5. You will be involved in HSE and EA liaison.
6. You will be targeted at minimizing accidents and near misses on site while maintaining the highest standards of outputted product.

EXPERIENCE: Health and Safety, Environmental & Quality / SHEQ Advisor

You will have experience in a similar role, including: SHEQ Advisor, HSEQ Officer, Compliance Advisor, Health & Safety Environmental and Quality Advisor, Lead Auditor.

You will be a practical and professional individual with a hands-on approach to Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental issues.

You will have a NEBOSH General or higher and may be affiliated with IOSH; IOSH or NEBOSH environmental qualifications are a plus.

Experience building relationships with the Health & Safety Executive and knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 is required; IEMA Auditor qualification is a plus.

You MUST demonstrate stability in previous roles.

You will have an industry-recognized qualification (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely, IOSH Environmental, NEBOSH General, NEBOSH Diploma, NEBOSH Environmental) or be working towards them.

You may be affiliated with AIOSH, TechIOSH, GradIOSH, CMIOSH, CFIOSH, IEMA.
