I'm working with a council in West London, looking for a Sheltered Service Manager to join their Neighbourhood Housing Management Service. This role enhances older and vulnerable residents' quality of life, ensuring they receive top-tier housing management.

Role Highlights:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee housing management services to support residents' tenancies.
2. Ensure communal areas are secure, clean, and well-maintained.
3. Manage vacant properties efficiently to minimize revenue loss.
4. Promote financial inclusion and manage rent arrears.
5. Facilitate social activities and communal facilities use.
6. Develop and adhere to health, safety, and welfare policies.
7. Encourage resident involvement in strategy and policy development.
8. Maintain relationships with support and care service providers.
9. Contribute to budget planning and manage expenditure.

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Qualifications: Degree in supported housing (e.g., NVQ Level 4) or relevant experience.
2. Experience: Managing teams in housing, with vulnerable customers.
3. Knowledge: Housing legislation, health and safety regulations, safeguarding.
4. Skills: Data analysis, Microsoft Office, strong communication skills.
5. Leadership: Attract, retain, motivate, and coach team members.
