Sheet Metal Workers are required for our client at Barrow.

The key experience which is desirable for this role:
Ideally, a Shipbuilding or heavy industry background is required.

What You'll be Doing:

Fabricate, Assemble, and Install sheet metal items
Confidently use Welding and Fabrication equipment on Astute and/or Dreadnought class submarines whilst they are under construction
Working with Pipe protection, glam plates, and small support systems in Bunk spaces

There is a huge demand for Sheet Metal Workers and potential for overtime if you're currently looking for work and hoping to build your experience within the submarine industry. Barrow is the place to be, with a lot of flexibility in work including day shift, night shift, and weekend shifts.

Compensation:
Local - 3 on 4 off - £23.28
Local - Nightshift - £25.80
Non Local - 3 on 4 off - £40.55 (For non-local candidates who are 40+ miles from site, a further £8 travel allowance is included within this rate)
Non-Local - Nightshift - £43.76
