Sheet Metal / Machine Operative

My client is a well-known Manufacturer with multi-site operations around the UK.

They have an opportunity to join their team on a permanent basis, based at their site in Northfleet. This role is days only and has opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Setting, Minding and Maintenance of Sheet Metal Machinery.
2. Manufacturing Sheet Metal Duct Fittings and Spirally Wound Tube.
3. Quality Checking Manufactured Goods and reporting any defects to management.
4. Maintain Stock Levels and recording use of raw materials and goods produced.
5. Housekeeping in the Production and Warehouse areas for health and safety.

Skills/Experience:

1. Candidates need to be physically fit.
2. Previous experience of working with sheet metal.
3. Machine operating experience.
4. FLT Counterbalance Licence or previous licence and operating experience (preferred but not essential).
