Job description

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic professional to join Student Services at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in our newly created role of Sexual Violence Prevention & Response Manager.

The Sexual Violence Prevention & Response Manager role is a unique opportunity to establish and lead our sexual violence prevention and response service. This will be an exciting challenge for a dynamic and collaborative candidate to build a specialised community of practice for students and staff in an area of significant priority for UK higher education.

The role holder will work in partnership with staff and departments across Guildhall School, providing trauma-informed, individual, and impartial support to students who have experienced sexual misconduct, violence, and harassment. The role holder will lead the development and delivery of a range of policies, procedures, and training, to ensure regulatory compliance and sector best practice.

The role holder will ideally have experience of delivering individual support, advice, and guidance to adults who have experienced sexual violence. They will have specialist expertise and understanding of the impact of sexual violence. The role holder will also ideally possess an accredited Independent Sexual Violence Advisers (ISVA) qualification. We welcome applicants without this, but with demonstrable and relevant professional experience.

An enhanced DBS check is required.
