Job description

Senior Consultant - UK Civil Engineering

Are you a Setting out Engineer seeking a new challenge? James Gray Recruitment are actively recruiting for a Site Engineer on behalf of one of our key civil engineering clients due to continued growth.

Our client:

• A well-established Scottish civil engineering contractor known for their delivery of rail-related civil's infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with industry standards, health & safety regulations, and project specifications.
  2. Carry out setting out duties.
  3. Provide technical support and solutions to the site team.
  4. Monitor project progress and contribute to reports for senior management.
  5. Maintain accurate site records, including drawings, permits, and risk assessments.

What you will need to be successful:

  1. A degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  2. A minimum of 2-3 years worth of setting out experience and knowledge of relevant equipment (Total Station, GPS, etc.).
  3. A full UK driving license.
