Are you interested in working as part of a team, providing care and support that enables people to stay safe and well in their own home? Care at Home staff perform a vital role in our communities supporting elderly, disabled and vulnerable residents day in, day out. Without them, everyday tasks would be extremely difficult, if not impossible, for these people.
Care at Home staff can often be the only person their client sees or speaks to from day-to-day so they also play a crucial role in tackling loneliness and isolation. We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic and compassionate people to join our Care at Home Team based in Dumbarton / Alexandria / Clydebank to support members of the community to maintain their independence at home and achieve their personal aims and objectives.
We provide paid comprehensive induction and training for all staff, including SVQ2 in Health & Social Care. For those seeking regular, scheduled work there is a rolling rota pattern.
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
The employment for which you are applying is excepted from the provisions of section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975.
