Service Writer

At Pattison Agriculture we seek talent ready to GROW, CONNECT AND EVOLVE with us! We are looking for a Service Writer to join our fast-paced, energetic dealership in Unity, SK.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be the initial customer support for the service department by greeting customers, answering phone calls, and performing a full range of clerical and service department activities. You will deliver quality work in one of Canada’s top John Deere dealer organizations through positive interactions in a friendly and collaborative environment that encourages learning and growth.

Responsibilities
  • Manage full cycle customer repair/service/warranty order and reporting
  • Perform administrative duties accurately and efficiently
  • Field customer inquiries to the Service Department
  • Maintain Work In Progress and Product Improvement Program processes
  • Work with Service Technicians to ensure clear and accurate communication to customers
  • Participate in training to develop skills and knowledge
  • Follow all safety regulations
  • Build positive and productive relationships with all departments
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of accounting practices
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in an agricultural related field would be an asset
  • Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, holidays if necessary
