Job Title: Service Technician
Location: Wellingborough
Salary: £32,500 per annum
Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:15 - 16:45, Friday 08:30 - 13:00

Are you a skilled technician looking for an opportunity to work with a leading brand in the caravan and motorhome industry? We are seeking a Service Technician to join our team in Wellingborough, offering excellent working conditions and career benefits.

About the Role:

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and servicing heating systems in caravans and motorhomes. You will work to the highest standards to ensure customer satisfaction and quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring the highest standard of workmanship.
  • Work with the customer service team to manage workloads effectively.
  • Follow a weekly schedule in SAP, diagnosing faults, performing repairs, servicing, and winterising Caravan and Motorhome heating systems.
  • Accurately complete service reports for every job.
  • Process returned goods, including inspection, testing, and documentation.
  • Ensure stock is accounted for and removed correctly.
  • Maintain a clean and well-equipped service bay, ensuring tools are secure and in good condition.
  • Work to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Gas Safe registration for LPG on boats and leisure vehicles.
  • A current UK driving license.
  • A good level of physical fitness to handle technical tasks in confined spaces.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • A proactive and problem-solving approach to work.
