We’re on the lookout for a hands-on, switched-on Service Technician to join an independent garage with a reputation for doing things properly. About the role

This is a role for someone who enjoys getting stuck in. Day to day, you’ll be diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to a high standard not rushing through jobs to hit unrealistic targets. You’ll have access to up-to-date tools and systems, and you'll be part of a team that actually talks, helps each other out, and gets the job done well. The team you’ll be joining is part of a specialist garage with a particular focus on Aston Martins. They’ve built a strong reputation in the local area by combining genuine mechanical knowledge with a customer-first approach. They’re passionate about cars and even more passionate about doing the right thing for their customers, and they want people who feel the same.

Working hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Responsibilities

1. Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, including performance models
2. Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance
3. Liaising with front-of-house staff to ensure clear, accurate communication
4. Keeping work documentation up to date and accurate
5. Contributing to a clean, efficient and well-organised workshop

Key requirements

1. Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Service Technician
2. Confident in diagnostics, servicing and repairs
3. Able to work independently and take responsibility for your work
4. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance
5. A full UK driving licence
6. Aston experience would be great or any similar marque
