Job Title: Service Technician

Location: Dudley

Job Type: Permanent

Overview:

Unify are thrilled that due to continued growth my client are recruiting for multiple Service Technicians to their team based in Dudley. Starting as a Service Technician to join an established provider of new and pre-owned construction equipment and tools. You will be tasked with repair, service, and inspect plant and equipment. This role involves working on machinery from skid steer loaders, telescopic handlers, excavators etc.

Core hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with overtime opportunities available.

What do I need?

  1. Background as a plant engineer, fitter, technician, or mechanic, with hands-on experience working on heavy machinery such as excavators, rollers, dumpers, and diggers.
  2. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  3. Full UK driving licence (a must-have!).

Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose faults, perform maintenance, and service plant equipment at customer locations.
  2. Conduct repairs and upkeep on a variety of construction and plant machinery.
  3. Visit client sites as needed to provide on-site support.
  4. Follow manufacturer guidelines and best practices to ensure quality workmanship.
  5. Maintain high health and safety standards while delivering excellent customer service.
