Job Description:

Planet Pharma are working with a global corporation that specializes in providing analytical instruments, lab technologies, diagnostic testing, laboratory services, and informatics. They focus on various sectors, including diagnostics, life science research, and industrial testing. Their capabilities include detection, imaging, informatics, and service. The client is dedicated to accelerating scientific outcomes with world-class instruments and solutions.

The main focus in this role will be to develop knowledge and expertise so that the ramifications of new technologies are readily understood. Offer guidance on scientific aspects of proposed equipment to be purchased by a top global pharmaceutical company.

Accountabilities:

1. Carry out calibration services to Laboratory Instrumentation including but not limited to – Balances, RH Probes, Temperature probes, pressure gauges, multimeters, and weights.
2. Liaise with staff regarding the services required for the efficient installation, maintenance, moves, relocations, and support of proposed items of instrumentation.
3. Use knowledge and experience to ensure that a high standard of safety of equipment is maintained.
4. Develop knowledge and expertise so that the ramifications of new technologies are readily understood.
5. Offer guidance on scientific aspects of proposed equipment to be purchased by a top pharmaceutical company.
6. Perform verification activities on equipment sent off-site for calibration, ensuring customer requirements are met at all times.

Requirements:

1. Strong calibration and installation experience within lab equipment (i.e., Balances, RH Probes, Temperature probes, pressure gauges, multimeters, and weights).
2. Good exposure to GLP.
