Are you a strategic leader with relational and organisational skills and would like to have the opportunity to help support and deliver the business management of our Safeguarding Children’s Partnership?
Wandsworth Safeguarding Children Partnership (WSCP) is jointly led by the Police, Integrated Care Board and Wandsworth Council. WSCP is responsible for protecting children and young people in Wandsworth from harm, abuse, neglect and exploitation, and promoting their welfare.
About the role
As a Service Manager, your role will be to support Safeguarding Partners and Relevant Agencies in coordinating their safeguarding services; acting as a leader in supporting and engaging others; coordinating the partnership response to serious child safeguarding incidents and implementing local and national learning from Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews as defined in Working Together to Safeguard Children 2023.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the Safeguarding Partnership meets its statutory duties and will manage the business unit directing their work for the smooth running of all partnership activities. This will include attending relevant regional and national groups to promote and develop the work of the partnership.
Day to day you will oversee and manage the strategic and operational delivery of the Children’s Safeguarding Partnership, its Executive and its subgroups. This involves working alongside the partnership executive group and chair, scrutineers and key strategic safeguarding leads and chairs of the subgroups.
