Service Manager - Fire and Security Systems

Experience within the Commercial Fire & Security systems sector is essential. Knowledge of Fire Alarm installation, Intruder Alarms, Security Alarms, CCTV, IRS Systems, Fire Protection Systems.

The Role

An established firm specialising in Security and Fire Protection Solutions in Essex are looking for a Service Manager. Reporting to the MD you will be responsible for commercial Fire / Security / CCTV / Access Control projects in and around London and South East England.

Your role will be to manage the department and staff to ensure that all service and small works contracts and allocated commissioning contracts are undertaken in a timely and cost-effective manner through to completion and where appropriate handover, all in accordance with the Company's established ethos and values.

Knowledge/Experience & Key Measurements required:

1. You MUST have previous experience (5 years min) with Systems, Fire / Security / CCTV / Access Control, etc.
2. Experienced Service Manager
3. Relevant industry qualifications (FIA/NSI/LPCB/C&G etc)
4. Excellent inter-personal communication and negotiation skills
5. Self-motivation and ability to organise own time effectively as well as to motivate and advise others to schedule their own workloads
6. Effective scheduling and execution of all site services work within agreed time frames and costs, all while maintaining our customer service ethos.
7. Identifying opportunities on client sites for small works and/or for refurbishing existing risk areas or for planned new areas.
8. On small works contracts organise pricing, quotations and securing orders

The role will suit individuals currently working as Service Manager - Fire and Security Systems, Service Manager, Contracts Manager, Operations Manager, Fire and Security Engineer and be living within a commutable distance of Harlow, West Essex, Hertford, Cheshunt, Epping, Chelmsford, Chigwell, Bishops Stortford or be willing to relocate.
